Face Painting Board Review:

Image result for face painting boards
Over the October half term I tried and tested this product. I found that in some ways it was good and in other ways it wasn't. So here is a list of pros and cons so that you can decide if this is the right product for you.

Pros:

  • You don't have to use your own face or body.
  • You don't have to bug your friends/ family if you want to practice.
  • It gives you a rough idea of how your design would look IRL.
  • It gives you a rough idea of spacing and how to incorporate that.
  • Its easier to do different shapes and tricky designs because you can pick it up and move it around to suit you.

Cons:

  • The face paint takes a long time to dry.
  • The face paint may look patchy (especially the white).
  • The colours appear more transparent, so you need to do more layers.
  • The black face paint looks grey, (no matter how many layers you do).
Overall I found that these boards are a good idea, however don't work as well as id like them to.
